This place is no frills. Got a free drink with our breakfast order - chose honey lemon tea Before a certain time they don't serve fried rice and chow foon so we decided to get the noodle soups and other breakfast items. Shredded pork with pickled veggie noodle soup. Quite basic 3/5 Satay beef noodle soup. Beef was good but didn't like the instant ramen noodles. 3/5 Steam rice roll with peanut butter sauce 3/5 Golden Lava French Toast. Wow just wow. 5/5 Will come back just for this and during lunch time for lunch items

Came back in the morning just for the this beast! So amazing! The French toast is only served during morning, so watch out for time! It was so delicious that we ordered one to go as well. The line was already long when we got there but is worth the wait

A cozy hong kong cafe in the heart of chinatown. We started off with the salted egg yolk french toast. The filling was sweet and savory and oozed out of the french toast. It would be great for breakfast or a dessert. For our entrees we got the satay beef and enoki noodles, and curry brisket with rice. Both were well seasoned and filling. Service and quick and friendly. Next time we will have to come back during the day to try some the milk tea!

Great HK style cafe - makes me feel right at home. No wait on a weeknight. Small space, but service is fast and food is great. Everything we had was really good - the mango drink surprised me! The sauce on the rice was really good, and the curry was so good we dipped the extra rice into it as well. Overall 5/5 food and is great for the price as well.

Following an exhilarating adventure with NYU, my friends and I descended upon this gem of a restaurant for a well-deserved lunch. The menu, a tapestry of Asian flavors, offered a culinary journey from the spicy kick of Tom Yum Fried Instant Noodles with Seafood to the comforting embrace of Soy Sauce Beef with Flat Rice Noodles. Each dish, priced with consideration for the savvy diner, was a testament to the establishment's commitment to value without compromising on quality. The Pineapple Bun with Butter, a sweet and savory delight, was a standout, harmoniously paired with the robust HK Style Milk Tea, served chilled to refresh the palate. The Curry Fish Balls simmered in a rich, aromatic sauce, while the Seafood with Baked Fried Rice was a mosaic of oceanic treasures. The Curry Beef Brisket over Rice was a hearty nod to tradition, and the Soy Sauce Pan Fried Noodles danced with umami flavors. The Assorted Beef Combo Noodle Soup, a hearty ensemble of beefy goodness, and the Young Chow Fried Rice, a classic done right, were both crowd-pleasers. The Steamed Vegetables with Oyster Sauce offered a verdant contrast, fresh and light. The Lemon Tea, tart and sweet, provided a perfect counterpoint to the meal. The Spareribs & Bitter Melon in Black Bean Sauce was a bold fusion of flavors, while the Grapefruit Honey Sauce Chicken Wings introduced a citrusy zing. The Fried Jumbo Shrimp with Mayo was a decadent affair, and the Steam Dumplings, a parcel of comfort. The Hong Kong Style Curry Flat Rice Noodles were a spicy sojourn, and the Chicken Chop with Baked Fried Rice, a satisfying crunch. The Stir Fried Beef with Flat Rice Noodles was a masterful display of wok hei, each strand of noodle coated in the savory soy sauce. The ambiance of the restaurant, with its impeccable decor, set the stage for a dining experience that was as visually appealing as it was gastronomically satisfying. In summary, the restaurant delivered an exceptional dining experience that was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The service was attentive and gracious, ensuring that our large group felt welcomed and well-cared for. This culinary haven is a place I eagerly anticipate revisiting, to once again indulge in the rich tapestry of flavors and the warm embrace of its hospitality. Indeed, it is a locale that beckons for encore visits with friends, old and new.

Delicious lunch spot! I came here for a late lunch craving beef chow fun, and Yelp led me to this spot. I was promptly seated and ordered the curry fish balls, beef chow fun, and HK milk tea (hot). The curry fish balls were ok (wouldn't order those again). The beef chow fun was delicious and hit the spot! Exactly what I was craving. The milk tea was very rich and creamy. Service was fast and efficient. It looked like a few others got the lava French toast, some baked rice dish. I would come back to try some of the other dishes!

Modern HK cafe/restaurant with a vast array of choices. When we came in, the server quickly notified us that it was cash only, which was fine with us since we had cash at hand. The pasta was good but it was too salty. There was a strong truffle flavor and I love truffle. The golden lava toast wasn't that sweet and was pure PERFECTION. However, my favorite was probably the baked rice and pork. There was a seafoody flavor and the cream worked so unexpectedly well with the baked rice. Literally gave me flashbacks to my childhood. Absolutely chef's kiss. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a go if you're ever near the area.

If you feel like indulging in some HK nostalgia and aren't in the mood to sit through a 2 hour Wong Kar Wai film, then Kong Sikh Tong is your best option amongst the breakfast cafes specializing in this niche in Chinatown. They have excellent renditions of all the classics, including a rich iced HK nai-tza (milk tea) and a chewy peanut sauce cheong fun. The most indulgent item on the menu is the golden lava toast, which comes topped with a decadent dallop of butter and is stuffed with sweet egg yolk. An absolute must-try!

Great Cantonese Chinese place in NYC. The honey walnut shrimp is phenomenal--perfectly crispy, creamy, and sweet. The candied walnuts are amazing with the sesame seeds. This was a delicious, sizable dish for $12 (usually this dish is more expensive at other restaurants). The green beans with shrimp sauce has a really rank smell but is savory and not too salty. The beef chow fun is well done with just the right amount of soy sauce. There's plenty of seating with as large room in the back. The service is fast and friendly. Reasonable prices for the quality.
